Off to the Nightmare Before Christmas ATP. This one (as you may or may not have heard by now) is curated by Godspeed You Black Emperor and features Neurosis, possibly my favorite band ever.
I'm totally stoked to be going, didn't think I'd make it to the festival but thanks to the lovely lads at Los Langeros - I now have both my ticket and transport sorted!!
So to celebrate here's a mixtape featuring all the artists I'm particularly excited about seeing, hope you enjoy it. Catch ya at ATPPPP woo!

Happening Friday November 19th with the wonderful Grand Pocket Orchestra! The Lowly Knights and Cloud Castle Lake are playing too, I've yet to hear either of the aforementioned acts and really looking forward to their sets. I'll been spinning a few tunes at this and cannot wait. Kicks off is 9PM at the Mercantile and it's free in- Check it
Nouveaunoise have just released EP Panaka it's available for free via their bandcamp, yessss! If artists like Fourtet and Clark are your bag then I reckon you'll really enjoy this.
The following tracks have been easing me off to sleep every night this week :)
Composer Rachel Grimes is playing in Cork next weekend (Nov 13th) courtesy of PingPong and anyone who's been to see the Social Network knows how wonderful the soundtrack is. In Motion from the aforementioned soundtrack is probably my favorite piece of music from the film and possibly the reason why I enjoyed the Social Network so much. Hope you like the mix!
They just released their brand new single Wild Machines via ATP Recordings and are currently on tour in Europe. They have yet to add an Irish date to their bill (fingers crossed) give em a wee listen, they're pretty savage!
This one's got a bit of a Black Metal vibe to it and features some of the artists playing at this year's Nightmare Before Christmas ATP - man I wish I was going!!
